PLOT
Devdas (Dev) and Parvati were childhood bosom friends and they lived in a same village. Devdas is young man who came from a wealthy family of Brahmin and Paru (Parvati) is a young girl who came from middle class. Devdas gone to kolkata (Calcutta) to learn for education when he thirteen years old. After finishing study, Devdas back to his village. After returns Devdas Paru likes and love him. Paru,s family propose Devdas and Paru,s marriage.But Devdas family don,t accept this proposal. One night  Paru gone to Devdas sleeping room and say, she loves a lot to Devdas. But Devdas silent position in this situation. At this time  frastracted Paru returns her house.
In a weekend state, Devdas gone to kolkata. From there he writes a letter to paru and saying thats they were only, only and only friends. some days later paru were married. Within days Devdas realizes that he loves paru and he back to viilage. After came village he heard paru were married.
